The Minnesota Vikings traded up in the second round and took Florida State University running back Dalvin Cook with the 41st pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Well we started the offseason with a big question mark at running back for the Vikings, but now we have two new weapons. Dalvin Cook will join Latavius Murray in the backfield after getting drafted with the 41st overall pick in the 2017 draft.
It seemed like it was going to be either running back or offensive line. With Forrest Lamp going at number 38, the Vikings swapped 2nd rounders with the Bengals and added a 4th rounder to move up to get Cook. No complaints here, a lot of people thought Cook should’ve gone in the first round. At least we don’t have to worry about the PR nightmare that is Joe Mixon being a potential pick now for the Vikings.
